Main Focus- Reports to work as scheduled and fit for duty
- Maintenance and reliability of site facilities and equipment
- Maintenance and reliability of site facilities, equipment, and instruments
- Troubleshoot, repair, install, maintain and modify, when necessary, site mechanical equipment
- Understand basic electricity and electrical controls to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment
- Completes, revises and creates maintenance work orders through use of the plant CMMS
- Actively engage in preventive and predictive maintenance of equipment and facilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance work in coordination with plant operations
- Maintain inventory of critical and general plant spare parts
- Works independently with minimal direction and oversight
- Support ISO 9001, 14001, and Responsible Care Programs
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Apprenticeship, trade school or equivalent education a plus
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment, chemical industry experience desirable
- Basic computer skills
- Journeyman’s Certificate a plus
- Willing to work all shifts and work overtime when needed
- Serve on the On-Call rotation and be able to respond to calls when necessary
- Be able to lift 55 lbs on a regular basis, at times be able to lift 110 lbs, be able to exert 100 lbs of force occasionally
- Capable of climbing, balancing, kneeling, bending, reaching, standing, walking, lifting and carrying in performance of work activities
